The Alliance for Continued Learning is an organization that is "member-powered, member-driven, and member-governed." Our activities are supported by ETSU's School of Continuing Studies and Academic Outreach. Everyone is invited to become a member. There are no membership requirements that involve prior educational experience-high school, college or otherwise. Members experience lifelong learning in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere.
Classes are informal with no exams and no grades. no age limits apply and our members come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. ACL members decide what study groups forums, classes or other activities will be held and participate infinding leaders/presenters for the sessions and selecting officers. A desire to learn is all that is required.
Some field trips that may be planned may require additional fees.
