The Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) is designed for HR professionals focused on implementing programs and supporting day-to-day operations. It validates technical and operational HR knowledge, including U.S. laws and regulations.

To be eligible for the PHR, you’ll need to meet one of the following criteria: Have at least one year of experience in a professional-level HR role, plus a master’s degree or higher; have at least two years of experience in a professional-level HR role, plus a bachelor’s degree; or have at least four years of experience in a professional-level HR role.
