Patrick Ball
Dr. Julia Bernard Dr. Bernard is an Associate Professor and Interim Chair of the Department of Counseling and Human Services at East Tennessee State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Family Studies from Purdue University, and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Tennessee. She is a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She is a Leave No Trace Master Educator, a Trauma Informed Care Trainer, and a Mental Health First Aid trainer. She is also the immediate past president of the Southeastern Council for Family Relations. Her research centers on the association between the family of origin and human service providers, specifically, the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
Michael Bird A native-born Texan, Michael graduated from Texas Tech University in 1981, with a BS degree in Industrial Engineering. He followed his BS with an MBA from University of Memphis. CFP designation, ChFC and multiple certifications from the Institute for Business and Finance, including specialties in income distribution and investments. Michael began his career in manufacturing before moving into financial planning, which makes his approach more analytical than most. He has held various leadership positions in many organizations, including President-elect, FPA of Memphis, before moving to Johnson City in 2007 and has most recently served as Treasurer for the Kiwanis Club of Kingsport. Michael conducted a weekly financial radio show on WJCW, 910 AM from 2011 to 2013. Michael is currently serving clients at Secure Money Matters in Bristol, TN.

Sheridan Nice Sheridan Nice is the owner of Mona Lisa's Gelato & Cafe in Johnson City, TN, with her parnter and husband, Steve Nice. She is a graduate of La Varenne, Ecole de Cuisine, Paris and a recipient of a Baking and Pastry scholarship from IACP, International Association of Culinary Professionals, to the Culinary Institute of America, Napa Valley.

Sam Ross Born and educated in Pensacola, FL, Sam graduated Summa Cum Laude from Harding University in 1979, with a BS degree in Business Management. He followed his BS with an MBA from Tennessee Tech. He holds a Masters Degree in Financial Services from the American College. Sam began his career with MetLife as a financial services representative. He has held various management positions during his past twenty-five years in the Tri-Cities area. He has set many company and industry sales records, qualifying for the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table seven times. He has held various officer positions in many of the local professional organizations. Sam is currently serving clients at Secure Money Matters in Bristol, TN.
