2025 Teen Applied STEM Health Experience: Grades 8-12 Dental Hygiene, Radiologic Science, Environmental Health, & technology

Applied STEM Foundations - 3 Weeks Applied STEM Foundation is an experiential program that covers computing, digital media, engineering, and other STEM concepts. Each week, students will be given the opportunity to explore areas and careers in STEM through the use of classroom lectures, hands-on experiences, various field trips, and speaker presentations. Students will also take part in various fun challenges sponsored by the ROTC. Applied STEM Health Experience track: focusing on Dental Hygiene, Biology, Radiologic Science, Environment Health, and technology concepts. Students will be introduced to various aspects of dental hygiene, such as creating models of teeth and equipment used by dentists. Students will be introduced to radiological science and the technology behind it. The Biology department will host various activities, including a trip to Buffalo Mountain and students will also be working with faculty in an environmental lab setting. Students who enroll in any one of the tracks will have the opportunity to experience all aspects of the Applied STEM Foundations if space and time allow. In order to register, a birthdate must be entered when requested. The Parent Handbook will be sent May 29th with location and pertinent information. Renaissance Camps drop off will be stated in the Parent's Handbook, will send map and handbook the Wednesday before camp week. There will be a $10.00 per every ten (10) minutes late charged after 5:00 p.m. Hello Everyone, How exciting that all of you have responded to the release of the camp registration site! Several of our camps are already full! So, in light of that, please look over your selections and if your child or children won't be able to make a week, or so, go ahead and request a refund, or withdrawal. After March 1, 2024 a $50.00 Administrative Fee will be charged per camp refund or per each child's withdrawal. We are happy to get everyone registered, and also rely on these registrations to hire counselors, order supplies and know who is coming each week. Thank you so much for your consideration! Darla
