Applied STEM Foundations - 3 Weeks Applied STEM Foundation is an experiential program that covers computing, digital media, engineering, and other STEM concepts. Each week, students will be given the opportunity to explore areas and careers in STEM through the use of classroom lectures, hands-on experiences, various field trips, and speaker presentations. Students will also take part in various fun challenges sponsored by the ROTC. Applied STEM Health Experience track: focusing on Dental Hygiene, Biology, Radiologic Science, Environment Health, and technology concepts. Students will be introduced to various aspects of dental hygiene, such as creating models of teeth and equipment used by dentists. Students will be introduced to radiological science and the technology behind it. The Biology department will host various activities, including a trip to Buffalo Mountain and students will also be working with faculty in an environmental lab setting. Students who enroll in any one of the tracks will have the opportunity to experience all aspects of the Applied STEM Foundations if space and time allow.
