Teen Cooking with Chef Sheridan for rising 7th through 10th graders

Get ready for a flavor-packed, hands-on week where teens turn into confident kitchen superstars! This isn't your average cooking class—it's a full Teen Chef Adventure Camp designed to build real skills, spark creativity, and create delicious memories.

Skills Teens Will Master;

Seasoning and flavor balancing like a chef

Time management in the kitchen

Plating and food presentation

Recipe reading, scaling, and improvising

Teamwork and creative problem-solving

Teens come home excited to cook family meals, are more independent in the kitchen, and are proud of their new skills. Many graduates even host their own dinner parties afterward!

Notes:

Renaissance Camps drop off will be stated in the Parent's Handbook, will send map and handbook the Wednesday before each camp week. If you are a current ETSU employee or student, $15.00 off per camp, please use ETSU email address. Cost of camps is at the workshops. There will be a $10.00 per every ten (10) minutes late charged after 5:00 p.m. After May 1, 2026 a $50.00 Administrative Fee will be charged per camp refund or per each child's withdrawal. We are happy to get everyone registered, and also rely on these registrations to hire counselors, order supplies and know who is coming each week. Thank you so much for your consideration! Kayli

Sheridan Nice

Sheridan Nice is the former owner of Mona Lisa's Gelato & Cafe in Johnson City and former owner of Epicurean. She is a graduate of La Varenne, Ecole de Cuisine, Paris and a recipient of a Baking and Pastry scholarship from IACP, International Association of Culinary Professionals, to the Culinary Institute of America, Napa Valley. In 2019, Sheridan made the transition from the restaurant industry to become a full-time instructor and recipe developer at Serenity Knoll Farm. Her vast knowledge and experience allow her to create engaging and informative cooking classes for students of all skill levels.
